St. Paul Catholic Church

Music Ministry

Anne Shoup
Coordinator of Music Ministries & Organist

The purpose of the music program is to enhance the worship at St. Paul’s Church by providing spiritual, uplifting and appropriate songs from the traditions of sacred music. The adult choir sings for the 11:00 Sunday Mass and other special liturgical services. The choir sings from September, after Labor Day through the Feast of Corpus Christi. Membership is open to anyone, high school or older. The choir practices every Thursday evening from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m.

Cantors sing for the Saturday 5:00 Mass and 11:00 Sundays when the choir is in recess during the summer.

If you are interested in the music program, please contact Annie Shoup at 767-7450.

Children are trained at various times of the year to help enhance their participation in the liturgy.

Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly, as in all wisdom you teach and admonish one another, singing psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs with gratitude in your hearts to God. And whatever you do, in word or in deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.
